CAN Recommended Candidates Elected to City Council Five candidates recommended
by the Hamilton Community Action Network (CAN) have been elected to Hamilton
City Council in the 2006 municipal election. The recommended candidates
elected were: The five candidates elected represent 63% of the total CAN recommended for the 2006 municipal election. CAN's recommendations were based on an analysis that included three factors:
It is encouraging to see the election and, in some cases, the re-election of candidates that share CANs principles of Good Government and Quality of Life.
